Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited the world's third largest tractor manufacturer by volumes and ISEKI & Co., Ltd, the third largest Japanese agricultural machinery manufacturer for tractors, planting and harvesting machinery, and engines, inked an agreement for the manufacture of compact tractors in India.

Stanley Black & Decker today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 20 percent stake in MTD Products Inc ("MTD"), a privately held global manufacturer of outdoor power equipment, for $234 million in cash. Under the terms of the agreement, Stanley Black & Decker has the option to acquire the remaining 80 percent of MTD beginning on July 1, 2021.

The Greater Minnesota Two-Cylinder Club (GMTCC) held their annual Field Days in Little Falls, Minnesota. The annual event was on the weekend of May 4 and 5 at theMorrison County Fairgrounds on May 5 and 6. John Deere New Generation tractors were the feature for the 2018 Field Days, showcasing tractors from the John Deere 10 and 20 series built in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The Field Days also featured vintage snowmobiles, demonstrations, and a flea market.
