Kubota Adds new M60 Tractors
Kubota -Kubota Tractor Corporation introduces two new models to its premium M-60 utility ag tractor line: the M6060 and M7060. The deluxe M7060 new 12-speed transmission cab and ROPS model offers reduced engine emissions, high-capacity hydraulics, low noise and electric engagement of four-wheel drive with the flip of a switch. Farms of all sizes will benefit from Kubota's updated M60 tractors with their increased power and added versatility to tackle a range of jobs with ease from hauling, material handling and loader work to snow removal and operating hay tools.
"I've been with Kubota for 31 years, and over the years we are continuing to grow and expand our utility tractor offerings for customers big and small," said Paul Williams, senior product manager for Kubota. "The demand will be high for the M7060 12-speed cab tractor because we have heard from dealers and customers alike that a deluxe model hay tractor would fulfill their needs from handling small balers, round or square, to raking and disc mowing, and more."
Kubota Sets Its Sights on the hayfield with the M7060 Deluxe 12-Speed, 4WD Cab Model
The new M7060 deluxe models elevate Kubota's M60-Series to a new level with 71 net horsepower, a 12-speed transmission, high flow hydraulic system, electric over hydraulic four wheel drive engagement and 540/540E rpm PTO. The 12-speed HDC transmission provides progressive movement of the gears for increased efficiency as the operator moves through all 12 forward and 12 reverse gears. The high-capacity hydraulic flow provides 16 gallons-per-minute, increasing fuel economy with lower engine speed and lowering operational noise when working with a loader. This four-wheel-drive model is equipped with electric-over engagement allowing operators to engage four-wheel drive at the flip of a switch. Auto braking from two-wheel-drive mode reduces front tire wear, while providing efficient braking action. Hydraulic wet-disc brakes are standard equipment, they provide increased value. The 540 PTO can operate in 540E (Economy) mode for light duty applications, increasing fuel economy and reducing operating noise while running implements, like a post hole digger or boom sprayer. The M7060 is also Tier IV compliant, minimizing emissions.
The Kubota M6060: Easy Operation with Reduced Emissions and Enhanced Ergonomics
Another addition to the M60 line this year is the M6060, available in two- or four-wheel drive and equipped with a Kubota V3307, 63.5 net horsepower diesel engine. This model features a standard wet-disc brakes. Hydraulic shuttle clutch is designed specifically to meet demanding loader work; this feature sets the M6060 apart from other units on the market with a dry clutch. Other features include an ergonomically- designed console, with an added direct shift linkage and hydraulic remote levers that are positioned for easy operation. The PTO can now be engaged with a simple push-and-turn motion of a large yellow knob. The V3307 engine is updated to Tier IV emission standards with a Common Rail System (CRS) electronic fuel component with electronically controlled governor, both of which increase engine performance while saving fuel.
LA1154 Loader: Performance Matched and Built in the USA
Built in Georgia, Kubota's M-Series front loader was designed with the farm in mind. The LA1154 front loader is performance-matched for optimal operation with the M60-Series. The loader is also equipped with a series valve with regenerative function, which increases performance, productivity and quick cycle times. The series valve allows simultaneous lift and dump, or rollback and raising of the bucket. Fully integrated with the tractor's design, the loader has a sleek look and increased operator visibility. In the power position, the LA1154 has a maximum lift height of 117.2 inches and lift capacity (at pivot pin) of 2,928 pounds.
