Houston-based Mahindra USA proudly announces the all-new 5010 4WD Open Station Gear Drive 9X3, the 5010 4WD Cab Gear Drive 9X3, and the 5010 4WD Cab Hydrostatic Drive to its 10-series of tractors. The 10 series tractors are a value line of compact economy machines designed for a multitude of uses. The new 5010 models were unveiled at the Raleigh Southern Farm Show on February 2nd through 4th, and will be available at Mahindra dealerships nationwide in early March 2011.

"The Mahindra 5010 tractor is a work-horse that is not only packed with power, it's also packed with value," said Mike Hilderbrand, Vice President of Marketing & Organizational Development for Mahindra USA. "For an amazingly attractive price, Mahindra customers will receive the big push, pull and lift power they expect from a Mahindra tractor and be covered by our industry-leading 5-year power-train warranty."

Each 5010 tractor features a four-cylinder, 49 horsepower engine that is the best in its class. The new models continue the strength of the 10 series, with a 3-point lift capacity of 3,314 lbs, which is also the best in its class. Standard features on the new 5010 models include: 1 remote valve, tilt steering wheel, flat operator's deck and a suspension seat.

The 5010 Open Station Gear Drive and the 5010 Cab Gear Drive each feature a 49 horsepower engine with Constantmesh 9X3 speed forward-reverse transmissions and the 5010 Cab Hydrostatic has a 49 horsepower Hydrostatic twin-pedal 3-range transmission.

The 5010 4WD Open Station Gear Drive will feature the ML150 loader, while the 5010 4WD Cab Gear Drive and the 5010 4WD Cab HST Drive will feature the new ML155 loader. The ML155 loader features a lift capacity of 2,991 lbs. (at pivot pins) and has a skid steer design that allows for quick change outs between optional attachments such as a bucket, bale spear and pallet fork.

The 10 series offers heavy-duty performance at a no-nonsense price. The fuel-efficient engines will help owners reduce their operating costs and save money with the value-pricing of the new products.
