Little Falls Two-Cylinder Show
TractorData.com -This past weekend, May 2 and 3, was the Greater Minnesota Two-Cylinder Club 2009 Show at the Morrison County fairgrounds in Little Falls, Minnesota. The club had great weather for the show, encouraging a great turnout. The crowd was so large that some vendors ran out of food, although this was only a temporary inconvenience as plenty of mini-donuts and corn dogs were still to be found. The club hosted an excellent show with a great display of tractors, vendors, and antique power demonstrations.
Featured tractors this year included the large models such as the John Deere D, G, R, 70, and 80 plus the follow-on 20 and 30 series models. Among the many tractors on display were some well restored examples of 20 and 30 series standards. An auction on Saturday brought a wide array of toys, parts, implements, and (of course) tractors. There were some no-sales on the tractors which seemed to follow a trend in collecting over the past several years. The John Deere letter series tractors are getting less interest with more going towards the 20 and 30-series, plus the New Generation tractors. The tractor pull was on Sunday and a large field of competitors showed up for a great event.
The 2010 show will feature the Waterloo Boy, GP, and the 10 series of New Generation tractors (1010, 2010, 3010, 4010, and 5010).
