“TrackFinder – G3 Satellite Autoguide System” is an advanced automatic satellite navigation system that's built into the tractor. The system comprises an electronic control unit and hydraulic actuators that act on the steering wheel according to the commands received from the satellite receiver and from inertial sensors, so as to maintain a pre-selected trajectory. Routes and trajectories can be memorized and repeated with only millimeter deviations.

To achieve this result, the tractor's power steering system has been re-designed. A high-precision proportional correcting valve and an electronic board with double security microprocessor with CanBus communication protocol have been built into the steering ram.

Thus the part concerning the automatic navigation system comprises two single components: a unit on the roof of the tractor and an electronic unit in the steering system with perfect integration between electronics and hydraulics without additional valves, tubes, wires, connectors or accessories.

Track Finder is able to pick up both American G.P.S signals and those of Glonass (Global Navigation Satellite System), the Russian satellite system that's similar to the American G.P.S. Besides picking up both types of signal, the Track Finder system can also process them simultaneously, thus optimizing the final degree of accuracy. Meanwhile, the system is also able to receive the signals from the European Galileo constellation which will begin service in 2008.

Track Finder is an innovative, user-friendly instrument that can increase your productivity and optimize your work in the fields with excellent results, regardless of the operator's skills. A colour display with three-dimensional images installed in the cab allows you to enter the width of the implement, memorize your route and handle all the tasks in a simple and efficacious way.

The system functions at any latitude, in any weather condition and allows the tractor to be used on a 24-hour basis.

Available for the PowerMaster tractor family, TrackFinder will also be installed on the Powerful and PowerMax series and will soon be extended to lower powered machines, especially the ones designed for work in vineyards and orchards.
