New JX95 High Clear utility tractor from CaseIH
CaseIH -Case IH introduces a new addition to the JX Series utility tractor line - the JX95 High Clear tractor - for specialty row crop applications.
"We designed the new 80 PTO horsepower (hp) Case IH JX95 High Clear tractor specifically to meet the unique needs of vegetable growers," says Willie Greaser, marketing manager for Case IH JX Series tractors.
Available in either 2-wheel drive (2WD) or mechanical front-wheel drive (MFD) configurations, the front axle ground clearance on the 2WD JX95 High Clear is 28.8 inches and 24.5 inches on the MFD. "Both the 2WD and MFD have 25.7 inches of clearance under the drawbar, allowing the operator to work without damaging the crop," Greaser adds.
A 20x12 creeper transmission with mechanical shuttle enables a minimum speed of 17 feet-per-minute for precision handling within rows. A mechanical rear differential lock and limited slip differential on the MFD provides improved traction in the toughest conditions.
Versatility and stability Tire track widths can be adjusted depending upon the crop's row spacing. The front track width on the 2WD JX95 High Clear tractor has two settings, 61 inches and 76.8 inches. The front axle on MFD tractors can range from 60.0 inches to 90.1 inches. The rear tire track can be adjusted from 59.9 inches to 79.8 inches. A rear axle extension is available to provide a range of settings between 71.3 inches to 91 inches for maximum versatility and stability. Tires available from the factory for the JX95 High Clear are 13.6x38 (R1W) and 320/80R42 (R1W).
The Case IH JX95 High Clear tractor also sports an auxiliary fuel tank that adds 7.1 gallons of capacity, for a total capacity of 26.6 gallons.
The tractor uses a Tier II emission-compliant, turbocharged, Case IH engine with four cylinders and an underhood exhaust muffler that reduces noise levels. For simple service, a single-piece engine hood is gas strut assisted for best-in-class accessibility.
For operator comfort, convenience and productivity, the JX95 High Clear operator platform has a tilt-adjustable steering column; easy-to-read instrumentation; a wide, comfortable seat that is mechanically suspended; two post-foldable ROPS; and an isolation mounted platform.
