John Deere Snowmobiles
John Deere manufactured snowmobiles at its lawn and garden factory in Horicon, Wisconsin. Deere was involved in cross-county snowmobile racing, sponsoring a factory race team during the mid-1970s. John Deere exited the snowmobile market after the 1984 season, selling its snowmobile assets to Polaris.
