Ingersoll Lawn tractors by series

Ingersoll was founded when Jack Ingersoll bought the Case Outdoor Power Equipment Division in 1983. The division traced its roots back to Colt garden tractors in the early 1960s. Ingersoll continued to produce garden tractors in Winneconne, Wisconsin using the hydraulic drive systems pioneered by Colt. Ingersoll entered bankruptcy in 2005 and assets were purchased by Eastman Industries in 2005. Eastman moved production to Portland, Maine. Ingersoll Outdoor closed in 2016.
