American Machine and Foundry (AMF) built snowmobiles for a decade beginning in the mid-1960s. AMF's Western Tool division, that built lawn and garden tractors, produced two models for the 1965 season. The name of one model, the Ski-Daddler, was used as a brand for a line of snowmobiles for the 1966 season. In 1972, AMF phased out the Ski-Daddler brand in favor of Harely-Davidson, another AMF subsidiary. Harley-Davidson snowmobiles were produced until 1975 when the line was discontinued.
