Thieman Harvester was organized in Albert City, Iowa, by the Thieman brothers and produced a variety of farm equipment. From 1936 until World War 2, Theiman offered an inexpensive kit tractor. The buyer had to obtain a engine, drive shaft, and rear axle for the kit. The Ford Model A engine and driveline was recommended, although a variety of types could be used. Thieman production shut down in 1942 due to wartime steel shortages.
