Taishan-America Farm tractors by factory

Orange Coast Imports (OCI), doing business as Taishan-America, imported the first Chinese-built tractors for sale in the United States. OCI had prior experience importing oil drilling equipment from China. In 1983, displayed at farm shows throughout the western US with three tractors and a self-propelled tiller, selling them under the Taishan name. The import agreement fell apart by 1985.
