The Fox River Tractor Company was founded in Appleton, Wisconsin when members of the Saiberlich family sold their interest in Eagle and founded a new tractor company. Fox River Tractor only managed a very limited run of tractors between 1920 and 1922. After tractor production ended, Fox found success building forage harvesters and silage equipment. Through a series of sales, Fox became a part of Hiniker's agricultural equipment division.
