The goal of TractorData.com is to provide a complete online resource for all types of tractors.
I grew up in a rural town in the north-central United States. My family has a long history with farming and farm machinery. For over thirty years, the family business was the local John Deere dealership. From riding with my father and grandfather in the field to the first time I drove a tractor solo (age five... I hit a tree), I've been around tractors my entire life.
I started TractorData while I was in college, during the early days of the world wide web. Since that time, the site has grown significantly. TractorData is used daily by 30,000 people and as a resource in everything from school papers to data-licensing arrangements with major manufacturers.
It would not have been possible to gather all this information on my own. I have received countless emails from people around the world with an interest in tractors sharing a wealth of information and photos of their own tractors. I have met and shared with people at farms, tractor shows, and museums from across the United States. And, of course, the work of the authors and researchers who came before me. This site exists to continue to share and spread that information.
